Sheffield Young Artists of the Year Exhibition and Competition 2010

It was good news when the letters came tumbling through Sheffield High art students letter boxes! They were letters of congratulations about art work completed in school which had been entered for the Sheffield Young Artists of the Year Exhibition and Competition 2010.

Twenty five Sheffield High School pupils had work selected for this prestigious exhibition but three received the top awards for work from last year:

Alina Gregory Award for Key Stage 5 category
Anjali Rao Award for the mixed media category
Laura Wells Award for Key Stage 5 category

All three were invited along with the other top award winners to be congratulated by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and Anjali Rao also attended the opening ceremony at the Skyline Suite in Ponds Forge.
